Akais MAX49 keyboard controller fuses together a generation of Akai developed and classic technology to create an all in one keyboard controller solution.
MAX49 is one of the most unique controllers ever engineered. Four banks of eight backlit LED ribbon styled touch faders, allow you to assign up to 32 control parameters. These new LED touch faders function like analog faders by simply dragging a finger along the touch strips, or you can perform instant leaps in any MIDI value from zero to maxed out and everything in-between.
The MAX49 houses four banks of 12 backlit MPC pads, offering a total of 48 assignable pads. These backlit, velocity sensitive pads come with classic MPC Swing, Note Repeat, Full Level and navigation controls. Legendary in the pro-music world, the MPC pads are ideal for triggering drums and samples from within your DAW.
The Max49 houses an array of connectivity options: USB MIDI, traditional 5-pin DIN MIDI and even Control Voltage and Gate outputs are onboard, allowing you to control everything from todays most advanced music software, to analog modular synths from as far back as the 1960s. Mackie Control and HUI protocols are also built in to give you instant compatibility with many industry standard DAWs.
The keyboard of the MAX49 has 49 full sized touch sensitive keys with aftertouch. With a huge array of assignable controllers, rubberised control wheels and a sleek red metallic design the MAX49 not only looks good but ofers all the control elements oyu could ever want for your DAW in a single product.
