The new JBL EON 515XT is a revolution in active PA speakers. A super lightweight speaker weighing in at only 14.9Kg and powered by a crown digital amplifier pounding out 625watts of pure music muscle, JBL have raised the standard for active PA speakers once more. The two-way EON515XT features a JBL 2414H high-frequency neodymium compression driver along with a 15-inch JBL 265F-1 Differential Drive dual-voice-coil woofer and they’ve both been matched specifically to the incorporated Crown Class D amplifier, all to improve the natural quality of the sound.
Another featured improvement is the lower noise floor. JBL have reduced the noise of the amplifier in the EON515XT and input sensitivity is up by 10db giving greater support for keys, DJs, Drum machines etc. There are a lot of PA speakers on the market that sound great with CDs or backing but do not cut it when it comes to live music. The 515XT differs from most, in live use it simply sounds like you want it to and out drives everything in its class.
