Powerful analog beats:
The Korg Electribe 'ER1' gets it's sound power from four tone generators which are featured on the Z1 and the Prophecy which are highly acclaimed for their sound. It also comes with four PCM samples of a Crash, open hi-hat, closed hi-hat and clap which you can use for every beat as needed.

Step and Realtime input:
The built-in sequencer on the Electribe makes it easy to create the rhythms you want. Each pad lights up so you can easily see what is being used as part of the rhythm plus you can also play along in realtime using the 12 trigger pads. six of the pads are assignable to certain items and the others fixed to the PCM sounds so you can tailor any kit to the music.

AUDIO INPUT:
Using the input of the Electribe you can sync, filter and add effects to any sort of audio input. The sounds are even tweakable with the realtime control knobs.

MOTION SEQUENCE:
To add life to your patterns you can use the Motion sequence function. This allows you to create realtime control movements to which the Elctribe will record.
