Kevlar Cone
The KRK VXT6 monitor uses a custom designed Kevlar, Yellow cone woofer and Aluminium pole piece. This use of materials and clever design makes the speaker cone lighter and stronger allowing for less distortion and extended bass response whilst the Aluminium pole and vented formers offer improved cooling for constant performance monitoring.
Looks and Tone
As well as looking curved and sleek the VXT6 monitor styling has a special use. The curves help stop diffusion and increase the sweet spot of the monitor focusing the true sound towards your ears. The forward sounding monitor make the detail in your sound very clear allowing for the optimum mix.
KRKs VXT6 uses a high-tech ABS Structural Foam in the cabinet. This material is very rugged and extremely impact resistant, and makes it possible for KRK engineers to create a speaker with no internal parallel walls, thereby preventing sound-coloring internal nodes.
