| FREE CONTROL WITH X
Y PAD: The Korg Kaoss controller unit utilises the XY pad technology found on the Z1. It uses 2 axis for information on a single touch pad which are the X and Y directions. This facility means you can control two feature of an effect at any one time. You may use the X direction (even level up, down, left or right) on the pad to control delay time and the Y level (how hard you push the pad down) to control the Feedback of the delay. |
100 VERSATILE
PROGRAMS: These preset programs are ideal for DJ mixing. some of the effects incorporated into these presets are delay, reverb and pitch shifter: filters to process the sound and modulation type effects such as flanger, phaser and pan. All settings are played with using the XY pad facility. |
| SAMPLING
FUNCTION: The Kaoss Pad can sample from an external audio source for a maximum of 6 seconds at 48kHz. You can then control that sound from the pad. The sampled sound source can be modified in a variety of ways using effects such as time stretch, reverse playback and pitch change. |
MIDI
CONTROLLER: The pad can also be used as a MIDI controller device. Using the MIDI Out you can use the pad to control the sounds and effects of an external , sampler or effects processor. Fantastic for use on stage in a live situation where you need as much control as possible. |
NEW MOTION RECORD SYSTEMThe KP2 can now record your movements on the pad. This means you can play in realtime whilst recording and then just trigger the previous movement by pressing a button! This is excellent to make changes sound tidy and keep them in time. |
