A real portble piano
The Roland RD700GX is possible one of the best sounding portable pianos on the market. The piano sound was created specially using 88 multi-key samples which means each note of the real grand piano has been sampled in every detail at different volume levels to create a stunning realistic reproduction. Combined with the new Alpha PHA II key action the result is quite extrodinary. The action plays and feels like the real thing and uses false ivory key tops with a fast response for when you need it. You would normally only see this spec in a top of the range home piano like the HP207 but now with the Roland RD700GX you can have it go with you on your gigs and wherever you need it.
SuperNatural Technology
The Roland RD700GX has a selection of EP pianos which use SuperNatural technology. This new Roland sound design offers veratility and quality never before heard in a Roland instrument. From the initial bite to the final decay of the EP, the RD700GX SuperNatural technology blows away the competition.
USB Audio
A new feature of the Roland RD700GX is the USB functionality. With a new added USB socket the RD700GX can now playback Wav, MP3 and MIDI files all from the one stick! For a complete live performance there is also a new feature which allows you to control the audio being played back. The new 'Audio Key' feature of the RD700GX is superb. Combined with software supplied on CD you can assign sections of an audio file to key presses on the RD700GX keyboard. Therefore you can trigger a verse, chorus or bridge of a real audio file in realtime. This is great for live playing where oyu may wish to repeat an extra chorus if your song is going down a treat or even just trigger audio phrases to play along with.
Custom Piano Designer
Piano not bright enough? Not enough string resonance or to mellow? The Roland RD700GX now has a piano designer. Yes, you can now design and taylor the piano sound to your needs. Open the lid of the grand a bit more, add some extra string resonance or change the sound dynamics. It can all be done on the top panel of the RD700GX and you can then store your favourite sounds for instant recall.
