Kronos RH3 - Problems Fixed and Video to Prove

We have been lucky enough to be one of the first stores in the country to receive a Kronos 73 with a modified keybed to resolve the muting key problem that has plagued a number of Kronos owners. Even though the fault did not seem to affect all weighted key models, it was an annoying problem for those that did and many have asked for a resolve ASAP.

New iDJ Pro iPad DJ Controller Delayed

The much anticipated and highly wanted iDJ Pro hardware controller has been delayed in the UK and an anticipated date somewhere in the 3rd Quater of this year is the expected release date.
We do not know what the delay is on the units but the suspicion is that Numark are waiting for the iPad3 release to make sure their product will be fully compatible with the latest iPad technology.

Last year Roland teamed up with Harry Hill, Muzu TV and The Fly to find Britains next big thing. Bands and singers from across the UK uploaded clips of their live performances to Harry's website, and after watching them all, the judges chose dandy Oxford rockers A Million Faces as the winners.

Namm 2012: New Korg Kaossilator 2 is added to Kaoss Series

Korg have announced the release of the Kaossilator 2 palm sized phrase synthesizer. Given its perfectly portable, plam size interface this Kaossilator is very big on features.
Korg have added a few neat features to this new inventive instrument. An in-built microphone allows users to record an external audio source direct to the internal looper for laying down overdubs with real sound. There is even a mic input socket for plugging in extrenal devices. Added to that is a new dual looper system which allows DJ style mutes and crossfades for incredible flexible creativity.
Of course these enhancements would be nothing without an advanced sound source so a new sound engine with 150 sounds to cover all styles of dance music has been added with a new OEL display for ease of use.

Korg Kronos RH3 keyboard fix announced

Korg have made a formal announcement that the problems some people have been experiencing with the RH3 action has now been resolved. A tiny percentage of people have been experiencing problems with sounds muting and sometimes playing doubled notes when using non-velocity sounds.
The physical problem has been solved and will be issued to Korg distributors as soon as they possibly can do. It must be pointed out that the problem applies to only a handful of Kronos weighted keyboards and it is these and only these products that will have the fix applied. Those products not showing the fault will not be able to have the mod applied.
