The ultimate in controllability:
The Triton has many qualities but it is not complex to use or access. KORG have placed four assignable control knobs on the font which also act as filter/ EG controls. Along with these are also the arpeggiator control knobs for instant playability. It allow masses of synthesizer capabilities to be used instantly. These in conjunction with their revolutionary touch screen control which has all synthesizer parameters at a touch of the screen means ultimate control over the entire workstation.

Sampling:
Korg Triton comes complete with 16Mb of sampling RAM (upgradable to 64Mb). The sampler itself is of outstanding quality and fantastic to use. Any sample that is going in can be effected by any of the Tritons insert effects along with other features such as reverse and mix means amazing editability over any sound, vocal or drum loop you may sample.

Editing parameters include

TRUNCATE: Discard unwanted area of sample,
CUT: Delete the selcted area and tighten up the waveform
CLEAR: Delete selected area
INSERT: Insert data at selected point
MIX: Mix 2 waveforms
PASTE: paste into selected point
INSERT ZERO: Insert silent area
NORMALIZE: Adjust level to maximum
VOLUME RAMP: Create fade in/ out effects
RATE CONVERT: Convert the sample frequency
REVERSE: Reverse playback

838 High Quality PCM sounds:
The Korg Triton's high capacity 32 Mbyte PCM ROM contains 425 multisamples including organ, guitar and brass. There are also 413 drum samples. Every style of music is covered from techno and drum and bass down to classical. The control and expression available from every single timbre in the Triton is what makes this synthesiser a necessity in the home or studio.
