The G8 is the first Roland product to offer the most powerful sequencing system from Roland in a workstation ever! The new 128 sequencer allows you 24 audio tracks of recording including recording of a live input plus 104 tracks of MIDI. The unit itself can have 16 different sound running at once but can also control another 16 channels of external devices. Graded Hammer Action
The Fantom G8 is the only G series product to offer the advanced PHA Alpha II graded hammer action. The action offers the most realistic piano touch in a Roland instrument to date. The flase ivory keytops provide a grip for your fingers for the most demanding giggs and playing so you do not slip off a note! This also makes the piano voice even better to play :)
True effects capability

The new effects system on the Fantom G8 is un-matched. 16 effects assigned for each MIDI part with 2 inserts that can be assigned to all parts + 2 masters for the overall sequencer for Reveb and Chrous. There are then 2 effects just for audio tracks and a further 2 effects processors for each ARX card (when installed). You can even have a single effect on the live input for Mic/ Guitar etc.. There is nothing on the market to match the power of the Fantom G when it comes to sequencing! |
New ARX Technology
TThe SuperNATURAL ARX cards offer the latest and best in expansion technology. The new SuperNATURAL source allows you to control and hear every nuance in a sound, have a 3d graphical representation of what is happening and have huge custom control of the sound. Example ARX01 Drums. When installed oyu ahve amazinngly real multi-sampled drum kits as oyu would expect the the top of the range TD kits. Except, now you get a 3D model on the screen of the drum you are editing and playing with, full control over shell depths, shell types, mic position and more on a clear to see system. You really must see and hear it to be believed!
